Physical Requirements of a VSF

The lot of a VSF must have a secure, 6 foot fence all the way around.

• The gate to the VSF must remained locked at all times when an employee of the VSF is not at the VSF.
• At all times, vehicles must be inside the fenced area.
• At all times, vehicles must be locked and secured.
  • If the windows or down or busted out, or if the hood, trunk, or doors, are broken and inoperable, you must tarp or use other material to protect the interior of the vehicle from the elements.

The lot must be free from overgrown vegetation.

Lot must have all weather surface, regardless of the weather conditions.

• At all times, you must be able to safely release vehicles to a tow truck.

VSF must be well lit for release of vehicles at night. (250 watts of light for every quarter acre)
